Arco unveils fresh additions

Köln, October 2024. Visitors to Design Post during the Orgatec Fair were treated to a wide range of fresh, new furniture designs by Arco. Over the last year or two, Arco have taken time to ask agents, Architects, Designers and clients what they should add to their expanding furniture collection. And now they have delivered on that promise. Here’s a small selection of our favourites.

With video calls this good, who wants home office?

The extensive Grid table collection by acclaimed UK designer Jonathan Prestwich has been expanded to offer trapezoidal-shaped tables for video calls. This clever and much-needed addition allows the Grid collection to be used throughout a project in its entirety.

Likewise for the Kami collection (below), also receiving a video-conferencing option: Kami Trapezoid. The below version is a standing height wall-fixed table, but freestanding and standard height options in multiple sizes and finishes are also available.

Revolve-Light

Another product by popular demand is the brand new Relvolve Light chair, designed by Gudmundur Ludvik. Following the success of his Re-volve chair for Arco, the new lighter version has been introduced to add a more compact, price-conscious version of the same timeless design.

With metal frame instead of wood, Re-volve light is available with wooden seat or backrest, upholstered seat and back (front side only) or a combination. As ever, sustainable woods are used - and in the case of the upholstered version of the chair recycled bed mattresses have been used in place of foam. Stylish and sustainable.

Kami: a standing ovation

In addition to new shapes, the Kami collection has also expanded vertically and horizontally, with much-needed standing height and XL wide versions now available in diverse sizes. Below is the Kami 2 high table with round legs. Also available is Kami 1 high table (oval legs) and Kami 3 high table (slim legs) to offer unsurpassed flexibility. Electrical sockets can be neatly integrated into the legs or the table tops. Cables are hidden from sight inside the table legs.

Slim table after-party

Due to the success of the Slim table, the 25 year anniversary special finishes and promotional discount has been extended until 31.12.24. As we head into the festive season, this is the final chance to order Slim tables at extra special prices, and in unique colour combinations.
