+Halle 2025: Innovation x Ambition
Annual Briefing process
Danish innovators +Halle are known for their radically different approach to design. Rather than commissioning designers to create pre-conceived products in response to their competitors, their unique Annual Briefing process sees a group of designers collaborate with experts such as psychologists and anthropologists, challenging eachother to think differently. This design process shifts the focus away from passing trends and firmly onto human behaviour. The resulting furniture collections are often unique, fresh and trailblazing. This is far away from the typical furniture design process and fosters creativity and fresh thoughts. As we say at Capper GmbH, “where it goes, nobody knows”.
Same high quality - lower price
But design isn’t everything. In the last two years there has been considerable change at +Halle, with new strategic employment hires tasked with the goal of progress, growth and improvement. Alongside the purchase of a new factory, this has led to cost efficiencies and bold and ambitious plans.
The entire collection is being analysed to consider how +Halle’s design innovations can be produced at lower cost. Through a series of small but clever adaptations, the Nest table collection by Form Us With Love was the first to benefit from this review, with price reductions of up to 27% in the 2024 pricelist, compared with 2023. At 3 days of design 2024 the SUI Desk chair was relaunched with a powder-coated steel table top replacing the previous wooden version; this reduced the list price by approximately 37%.
The entire collection is being studied to see where small design adaptations and new purchasing agreements can lower cost, without impacting the design or high quality we expect from +Halle. In 2025 expect to see substantial cost savings being applied to numerous product families.

New Launches
Following the huge interest in Tulipan (now available to view in Switzerland) a series of new products will launch in early 2025, with more to follow during 3 days of design in June. This includes brand new products, alongside fresh additions to existing collections - including the fantastic Nest collection. New product launches will tour across Europe, with local collaborations and activities currently being finalised. Watch this space!
pCon Planner
Due to popular demand, +Halle will soon be available on pCon planner - which is super exciting news. The exact launch date is yet to be confirmed but completion is expected during Q1 2025. The integration of +Halle into pCon Planner will allow our partners throughout Switzerland and Liechtenstein to plan the collection into new projects more easily than ever before. This will be a significant boost to growth in the region and will make the +Halle brand even more attractive.
Transparency and Sustainability
+Halle continues to invest in making its website more informative regarding sustainability, carbon footprint and material sources. Starting with the most popular products and working through the entire collection, +Halle is adding EPD (environmental product declarations) to individual product download sections. These are independent tests to ascertain the impact of a product on the environment including production and transport emissions, material breakdown and life-cycle. +Halle is committed to reducing waste and improving transparency with regard to manufacturing.
The combined result of +Halle’s investment throughout the business, team and collections has gotten us very excited for what’s to come. You should be too - bring on 2025!
